Who We Are
Founder & Executive Director
Heather is a trilingual certified teacher, world traveller and permanent student! She founded Shepherd My Sheep in 2020 after surviving an abusive relationship.
As a certified advocate, she has walked alongside many other women fleeing domestic violence. As the director, she designs the curriculum and leads training workshops for Shepherd My Sheep. She also moderates spiritual processing groups with Mountain City Christian Counseling, as well as her own faith-based book clubs.
Heather is well-known for her hospitality and gentle ministering to others. She enjoys spending time with family, gardening and genealogy to fill her cup.
Assistant to the Executive Director & Educator
Drew Robinson has a Bachelor of Applied Arts. Prior to joining Shepherd My Sheep, Drew worked for Nexus BC, creating and delivering educational programs to seniors on Emergency Preparedness.
Before moving to B.C. during COVID, Drew worked for many years with the Children's Aid Society of Ontario, as a family support worker. This gave him in-depth knowledge and understanding of domestic violence and the trauma it causes. Drew also has extensive experience in the Commercial production industry.
Drew is hoping to continue his education in 2023, with a focus on counselling, which will enable him to work with people suffering the aftermaths of various traumas in their lives.
In his spare time, Drew enjoys spending time on his boat, skiing and playing cribbage with his family.
